Finnode event on Nov 22, 2011 at Finlandia hall was a success – a lot of questions and discussions took place around the future of Russia.  Different development options of Russian economy, energy prices, foreign investments and investment climate... were evaluated. The most outstanding topic in modernization of Russia is talent potential of people!  Elementary schools has been working for 50 years  quite effective – but secondary and vocational training has delayed from the requirements of modern economy and industries’ needs.  Higher education has not been able to follow world level trends in Russia, R&D skills are poor.. The availability, price and productivity of labour are key elements in the global competition of investments, especially in BRIC - countries - and to have success in it, Russia has a lot to do... Let us wait if the Finnode Global project ‘ Future of Learning’  will give some leads to Finnish organizations and companies how to go to this business in Russia....
