Russian Arctic Sea exploration
The SUBJECT of this project is new infrastructural projects connected with Off-shore Arctic sea exploration and Northern Sea Route development within Barents and Kara sea area. Major international industry leaders will be involved in these projects as either participants or contractors. That means many foreign professionals will be sent to work in the area. There is a huge need of relevant technologies, infrastructure, logistic, maintenance, housing and medical services that local Russian companies are not yet able to provide, especially when it comes to expatriates needs. Environmental issues and respective smart solutions will also be given special emphasis.
The GOAL of this project is an identification of opportunities for Finnish companies to utilize Finnish extensive experience of living and operating in Arctic region. The project will be carried out in February -October 2012.
