FinNode network

FinNode is a global network of Finnish innovation organisations, with offices located in the United States, China, Russia, Japan and India. Operating via nodes in global innovation environment, FinNode reveals new opportunities for Finnish business and research organisations and supports their internationalisation. FinNode integrates Finnish and international experts and the know-how required to promote innovations. FinNode represents all sections of the Finnish innovation ecosystem in the countries where it operates, allowing foreign partners to engage with Finland’s major public innovation support organisations. These include: the Ministry of Employment and the Economy, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Finpro, Tekes (the Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation), Sitra (the Finnish Innovation Fund), VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland and the Academy of Finland. The Ministry of Education and Culture and the Confederation of Finnish Industries EK also contribute in directing FinNode’s activities.

 

 

FinNode Russia

Finnode Russia is an integral part of Finnode‘s global network, operating in Russia. The goal of Finnode Russia is to support networking and integration of innovation ecosystems of Finland and Russia.

For our Russian partners, Finnode represents an access point to Finnish innovation operators, R&D-organizations, industrial clusters, investors and venture capital. 

For Finns, Finnode Russia can offer better understanding of trends and signals in Russian business and innovation environment and is aimed to deliver new business leads to Finnish companies, through custom Finnode Future Sessions and thematic seminars. 

Additionally,  Finnode Russia paves the way for leading Russian enterprenuers, developers and suppliers of innovations, interested to commercialize them with Finnish partners. Finnode Russia takes part in the most recognized Russian innovation competitions, forums, conferences, venture capital fairs and seminars. Finnode main interests are focused on: ICT & Software, Nano and Biotechnology, Energy efficiency and renewable energy.
