The project is about detection of opportunities for Finnish software and digital media companies to enter the Russian market and starting up the business network between Finnish and Russian software and digital media players that could allow creating efficient partnering and technical transfer models for digital content in Russian segment of Internet
At the moment Russian internet market is one the biggest in Europe with 60 millions of users and continues to grow fast. More and more users are getting broadband access to the web. Activity of internet users and the ways of how they are using internet are also changing. New technologies are welcomed by users. Consumption of the digital content and especially of mobile content in Russia is booming. At the same time, creation of digital content and distribution models are far behind market demands.
